Christians: Beware Of Black Friday

Saturday, November 26, 2016

Black Friday, a custom that America has right after the holiday of thanksgiving. What is this? Black Friday is a day out of the year that shoppers do not have to pay taxes on their purchases. People camp outside of department stores for sometimes three days.

But why is this wrong in the eyes of the Lord? For one, the shoppers try to kill each other as soon as the doors open. Greed drives the consumer to violence. This time, a Walmart employee got killed in the endless sea of Americans rushing into the store.

This Year's Warning:

Endless fights broke out in the pursuit of saving a dollar. This is a day right after Thanksgiving. Thanks Giving is a holiday where families and friends gather to give thanks to God for what they have. Then the next day they try to kill each other in an animalistic mob.

The Bad part is that some of these people are self-proclaimed Christians. They wake up every Sunday morning and go to church. They pray and read the bible. Then one day per year they become a heathen and try to stomp other people into the floor as they race inside the stores.

Are You Involved In This Ignorance?

“For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,” ~2 Timothy 3:2

This is the acts of the world. God told us that in the last days, men would be this way. Do not take part in these worldly traditions beloved. Why would you even want to? I suggest rather, stay at home and spend time with your families.

Pray for the mind of Christ. What would Jesus do? Would Jesus rush to the store and try to hurt people to save money?

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. ~1 Timothy 6:10
